Örnek Task 2 Paragrafı
While democracy is widely regarded as the most equitable form of governance, it is not without its shortcomings. The separation of powers and checks and balances that underpin democratic systems are designed to prevent the abuse of authority, yet they can also create political gridlock, particularly when coalition governments fail to reach consensus. Furthermore, the rise of populism in recent years has exposed the vulnerabilities of democratic institutions, as elected leaders increasingly challenge judicial independence and civil liberties in pursuit of short-term political gain. Strengthening constitutional safeguards and fostering political accountability through an independent press, therefore, remains essential.
